Caring Pet Crematory is located at 4720 Beloit Drive in Sacramento, California, and has been serving grieving families since 2013. The crematory was founded by Craig Strunk, a retired funeral director with more than 40 years of experience in the funeral industry — including former ownership of Sierra View Funeral Chapel, Affordable Cremation & Funeral Centers, and Nor-Cal Crematories. After experiencing the loss of his own pets firsthand, Craig decided to bring that same level of professional dignity and compassionate care to families navigating the loss of an animal companion.
Caring Pet Crematory serves families throughout Sacramento, Roseville, Davis, and surrounding communities in the greater Sacramento area. One of the crematory's distinguishing features is the availability of witness cremation options, which allow families to be present for their pet's final farewell. Home pickup is also available, so families are not required to transport their pet during an already difficult time. The crematory operates Monday through Friday with appointments recommended, and Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only.

What to Expect
When you contact Caring Pet Crematory, you can call or visit Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM; weekend appointments are available by arrangement. Cremation fees are determined by the weight of your pet. Families who want to be present may choose from several witness cremation options, which are offered in addition to the standard cremation service. Home pickup is available for those who prefer not to bring their pet to the facility. Craig Strunk personally oversees the care and handling of every animal to ensure your pet is treated with the utmost dignity throughout the entire process.
