Companion Crossing Home Pet Euthanasia

About Companion Crossing Home Pet Euthanasia
Companion Crossing Home Pet Euthanasia holds a unique distinction as the first veterinary practice in North Alabama dedicated exclusively to end-of-life care services for pets. Founded and operated by Dr. Rebecca McClellan, a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian credentialed by The Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy, the practice exists to support families in the Huntsville area through one of the most difficult moments they will face with their beloved companions. Dr. McClellan graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 after completing her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, and has built her career around compassionate end-of-life care.
Dr. McClellan's personal experience losing her own cat Chaplin to cancer after 12 years shapes the empathy she brings to every family she serves. She holds a Human-Animal Bond Certification through the American Veterinary Medical Association, is certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners as a Cat Friendly Veterinarian, and is a member of the International Animal Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. She has also presented continuing education lectures on end-of-life care for the Huntsville veterinary community. Companion Crossing serves the greater Huntsville area and can be reached by call or text at (256) 808-5205 or at companioncrossing@gmail.com.
