What to Expect

Dr. Doty charges a house call fee that varies by location — $50 for the Anchorage municipality and $75 for the Mat-Su Valley — in addition to a standard exam fee of $65. For in-home euthanasia, fees range from $375 to $425 depending on the animal's weight and travel time. After the appointment, Dr. Doty can coordinate transportation to a local crematorium if desired, though cremation arrangements are made separately.
