What to Expect

When Dr. Killian arrives for an in-home appointment, he begins with pre-euthanasia sedation — a small under-the-skin injection accompanied by optional oral medications for dogs with anxiety, allowing the pet to gradually relax over about 10 minutes while families offer treats and spend loving time together. Once fully calm, a stronger sedation is administered, followed by the euthanasia injection approximately 15 minutes later.
