Kona's Loving Paws provides the following to Central Ohio families:

• In-home pet euthanasia (includes pre-medication for comfort before the final medication; appointments typically 30-60 minutes)
• Quality of Life Consultations — in-home or virtual, to assist families in assessing their pet's comfort and readiness
• Private cremation (includes transport from home to crematorium, custom-engraved wood urn, fur clipping, clay paw print, and personal delivery of cremated remains to the home)

What to Expect

When a veterinarian arrives for a home euthanasia appointment, the visit begins with time for the family to share stories and settle the pet in their preferred spot. The doctor explains the process before administering a sedative combination for comfort, followed by the final medication. Family members and other household pets are welcome to be present. After the appointment, the practice can coordinate private or communal cremation, with private cremation returning a custom-engraved wood urn and clay paw print directly to the family's home.
