Mankato Pet Cremation

About Mankato Pet Cremation
Mankato Pet Cremation is a family-owned and operated business based at 19049 Kodiak Lane in Mankato, Minnesota. Founded in the summer of 2018, the business grew directly from the owners' personal experience as pet owners who discovered there were no local pet cremation options available to them in the Mankato area. Rather than requiring families to travel to the Twin Cities, they built a local service committed to compassionate, transparent care for family pets of all sizes. Mankato Pet Cremation serves individual pet owners, veterinary clinics, and humane societies throughout the region, and their staff is fluent in American Sign Language.
Mankato Pet Cremation has partnered with the Blue Earth County Humane Society to offer a unique companion cremation option — with a pet owner's permission, a humane society pet can be cremated alongside their pet (in completely separate sections of the chamber) at a reduced cost to the shelter. The business is also an active supporter of animal welfare causes in the community. For families who need in-home euthanasia, Mankato Pet Cremation works with licensed veterinarian Dr. Karen Exline of the Miller Mobile Veterinary Service to provide that option. The service area for pickup and delivery extends to 25 miles from their location, with extended-range service available for an additional mileage fee.

What to Expect

The business operates Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is available on Sundays for emergencies. For families who need time before payment is complete, a payment plan is available — 50 percent is collected at pet intake, with the remaining balance due when remains are returned. Each pet is tracked individually from the time they are received through the return of their remains, giving families assurance and transparency throughout the process.
