MillyVet In-Home Pet Euthanasia Services

About MillyVet In-Home Pet Euthanasia Services
MillyVet In-Home Pet Euthanasia Services is a mobile veterinary practice based in Middletown, Virginia, bringing compassionate end-of-life care directly to families throughout the Winchester, VA area and into neighboring West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The practice is led by Dr. Liskey, whose goal is to make a pet's final moments as peaceful and low-stress as possible—for both the animal and the people who love them. MillyVet's house-call model means families don't have to face the stress of a clinic visit during an already difficult time; instead, appointments take place wherever the pet is most comfortable, whether that's a favorite cozy chair, a beloved pet bed, or a cherished outdoor spot.
Beyond in-home euthanasia, MillyVet offers aftercare coordination through a licensed cremation partner, Agape Pet Services. For families experiencing financial hardship, the Echo Fund may provide assistance—a detail that speaks to MillyVet's commitment to making compassionate care accessible. Support staff are available seven days a week by phone and email to answer questions and help families navigate this difficult process.

What to Expect
Appointments with MillyVet are available Monday through Friday, with evening, weekend, and holiday appointments possible upon request for an additional fee. When Dr. Liskey arrives at your home, she will first administer a relaxing, pain-relieving sedative that allows your pet to drift into a calm, comfortable state. Once your pet is fully at ease, a second medication is given that allows them to pass away gently and without any discomfort. Complimentary ink paw and nose prints, as well as a fur clipping, are included with every visit. Aftercare arrangements—whether private or communal cremation—are handled through the practice's licensed cremation partner, and ashes from private cremations are returned directly to your home or to your regular veterinarian.
