About Pine Hill Pet & Horse Cemetery

Pine Hill Pet & Horse Cemetery is a beautiful, expansive pet burial and cremation facility located 2.5 miles north of Bowie, Texas on Highway 81 North. Set in a quiet rural setting, the park is home to hundreds of trees — pine, oak, cedar, apple, and more — along with roses, flowering bushes, and wide open skies that are improved every spring and fall with new plantings. Thousands of markers across the grounds identify beloved pets, horses, and other companions entrusted to Pine Hill's care over the years. Every tree planted becomes a living memorial, providing shelter and beauty that grows more meaningful with time.

As fellow pet owners, the Pine Hill team understands the emotional weight of loss and works to make every aspect of the process as compassionate as possible. The cemetery accommodates animals of all sizes — from rabbits and small pets to full-size horses — and offers family burial plots that allow multiple pets to rest together in one sacred place at no additional cost. Phone lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so families can always reach someone even outside of regular office hours. First-time visitors are asked to call ahead so staff can greet them and help locate their special friend's resting place.
