Tender Transitions is a small, owner-operated veterinary practice based in Gluckstadt, Mississippi, founded and run by Dr. Kallie Sesti. Dr. Sesti specializes exclusively in in-home pet euthanasia for dogs and cats, serving families throughout the Greater Jackson Metropolitan Area. Her entire practice is built around one goal: making the end-of-life experience as peaceful and personal as possible, in the one place a pet feels most secure — home.

Dr. Sesti takes a highly personalized approach to each appointment, recognizing that every family's goodbye is unique. Families are welcome to shape the experience in whatever way is most meaningful to them — saying a prayer, reading a handwritten letter, placing flowers nearby, or simply sitting together in quiet reflection. Children and other pets are welcome to be present, and Dr. Sesti provides compassionate guidance throughout the process without ever rushing the moment.

What to Expect

Appointments begin with an online questionnaire that allows Dr. Sesti to provide a custom quote based on your specific selections. When she arrives, she guides the process gently while giving your family the space and time needed to say goodbye. If you choose cremation afterward, Dr. Sesti will personally transport your pet at the conclusion of the appointment and manage all arrangements on your behalf, so you can focus on your family during this difficult time. Keepsakes and memory items are also available for families who wish to preserve a lasting reminder of their pet.
